  1.  INTERPRETATION AND VARIATION

 

  • 1. In the Terms and Conditions the following definitions apply:
    • 1.1. “UKTG”, “We” or “Us” means Therapy Guide Ltd (trading as UK Therapy Guide).
    • 1.2. “Therapist” means any person who is a member of UK Therapy Guide and is listed on the website.
    • 1.3. “Client,” or “You” means any person who has booked an appointment, or made an enquiry on the site about undertaking therapy with a member. The Client, and You are interchangable.
    • 1.4. “Session” means the arranged session between Therapist and Client facilitated via UKTG
    • 1.5. “Terms and Conditions” as defined here
    • 1.6. “Website” means www.uktherapyguide.com or affiliated websites
    • 1.7. “Service,” “Discount Service” means the provision of Therapeutic Service at a discount rate defined under “Services and Discount Services”
    • 1.8. “Subscription Period” means the time during which this service takes place

 

  • 2. The Terms and Conditions are incorporated into the Client Consent Form.

 

  • 3. UKTG reserves the right to vary or revoke any of the Terms and Conditions from time to time which it may consider necessary or suitable for the regulation of the website and the conduct of Members and Clients.
  • 4. We may revise these terms from time to time. The most current version of the Terms will govern our relationship with you. We will try to notify you of material revision, via an email. By continuing to use our services after the revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
  • 5. Revisions to these Terms may be to:
    • 5.1. Comply with changes to the law
    • 5.2. Comply with regulatory requirements
    • 5.3. Reflect improvements or enhancements to the service.
  • 6. Use of our services constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and you agree to be bound by our Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and Our Cookies Policy
  • 7. The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

 

  1. GENERAL GUIDELINES

 

  • 1. By providing an email address to UKTG on registration, the Client consents to receiving email communications from UKTG, including notices pursuant to the Terms and Conditions.
  • 2. The Client also accepts any risk that email may not be a fully secure and confidential means of communication.
  • 3. UKTG will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of communicating with a Client in this manner.
  • 4. The Client agrees to thoroughly read and comply with our Terms and Conditions set out within. Anyone infringing on the aforementioned terms could be excluded from the use of our website.
  • 5. The Client agrees to thoroughly read and sign the UKTG Consent Form

 

  1. SERVICES AND DISCOUNT SERVICES

 

  • 1. UKTG is a website that matches clients with Therapist
  • 2. For an agreed fee, defined under Fees, UKTG is providing Therapeutic services via a Therapist
  • 3. These services will consist of no more than 4 sessions per month with the appointed Therapists, with sessions lasting for 30 minutes
  • 4. As a discount service, services are limited by available Therapists and the type of Therapy provided by the Therapist is at the Therapist’s discretion
  • 5. Group Sessions, couples therapy, family therapy is not currently available under this service
  • 6. Availability is provided by the Therapist according to their available hours, and sessions will take place at a set time each week, unless otherwise decided by the Therapist.
  • 7. You agree to only use UKTG’s website, landing pages and services for the purposes outlined in this agreement

 

  1. FEES

 

 

  • 1. Subject to any statutory right of cancellation, monthly payments are made non­‐refundable unless otherwise stated in the Terms and Conditions.
  • 2. Prices are quoted in UK Pound Sterling. You must pay in the currency in which the price is quoted. If you do not hold an account in the relevant currency you may pay by debit or credit card (or any payment method recommended by UKTG) and your card company should exchange the amount charged to the currency of your country at their current rate
  • 3. You must pay all fees as stated by UKTG. Fees are based on Services subscriptions purchased and not actual usage.
  • 4. Payment obligations are non-cancelable and fees paid are non-refundable, and services cannot be decreased during the relevant billing cycle.
  • 5. Payment is required in advance before the service is provided.
  • 6. Paid in advance every 28 days, regardless of attendance of sessions.
  • 7. Refunds are not available for non-usage of the service under any circumstances.
  • 8. Payment may be made by direct debit or any such method as UKTG may introduce at its absolute discretion.
  • 9. UKTG reserves the absolute right to accept or refuse any payment made in any form
  • The client must provide UKTG with valid and updated payment information that is acceptable to UKTG. If you provide payment information to UKTG, you authorise us to charge such payment method for all Services listed in this agreement for the Discount Term, as specified here. Such payments will be made in advance every 28 days.
  • You are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing and contact information to us and notifying us of any changes to such information.
  • Overdue Charges. If any amount is not received by us by the due date then we reserve the right to suspend our services and this agreement with immediate effect. You may not arrange or attend appointments with your Therapist if your payment is overdue.
  • If any amount owing by you under this or any other agreement for our services is 10 or more days overdue, and you have deemed to be using our services, we may, without limiting our other rights and remedies, take all reasonable efforts to recover the unpaid fees due under this agreement.
  • Disputes – we will not exercise our rights with regards to overdue charges above if you are disputing the applicable charges reasonably and in good faith, and you are cooperating diligently to resolve the dispute.
  • We aim to debit the first subscription payment immediately upon your agreement to commence services and on confirmation that Therapy is to proceed with your appointed Therapist
  • UKTG cannot guarantee that sessions will always be available, and disputes over availability should be resolved with your Therapist.
  • UKTG reserves the right to change fees for its service at any time or impose additional fees or charges. Such changes will be effective in the next billing cycle following our notification to you of our new fees.
  • Your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms.
  • The client will make payments for all appointments to UKTG by direct debit or as instructed by UKTG

 

  1. SUBSCRIPTION PERIOD

 

  • 1. This Service is available to the client until the client and the therapist agree to conclude or terminate sessions.
  • 2. Once this period is over you will only be able to continue to use the service by booking individual sessions with your Therapist via UKTG’s website, unless a new agreement or subscription period is made available to you by UKTG.
  • 3. For any upgrade in your program, this will begin at the conclusion of the current billing cycle, and begin at the next billing cycle
  • 4. UKTG reserves the right at any time to end the subscription period, whereby sessions will by no longer available at this discount rate beyond the end of the current billing cycle.
  • 5. All fees are exclusive of all taxes, levies or duties imposed by taking authorities and you shall be responsible for payment of all of such taxes under UK Tax law and HMRC guidelines.

 

  1. TERMINATION

 

  • 1. This agreement will terminate at the discretion of the Therapist, the Client, or UKTG
  • 2. Eligibility for this discount is not an automatic right, it is a benefit for selected individuals who follow UKTG’s terms, and their Therapists ground rules and treat members of UKTG (including its employees, Therapists, contractors and other agents) well. We may decide, using reasonable discretion, decide whether or not your use of this discount complies with these terms. We can suspend or terminate your discount service at any time for any reason, (at all times acting reasonably).
  • 3. You are free to stop using our Services at any time. We also reserve the right to suspend or end the Services at any time at our discretion and without notice.
  • 4. Examples of this may include:
    • 4.1. Non-payment
    • 4.2. If you are not complying with these terms or services
    • 4.3. Use of the services in a manner that would cause us legal liability, disruption of our Services, or disruption to other’s use of the service
    • 4.4. You act in a way that does not align with the values of our community or you act in a way that would cause others harm or upset.
    • 4.5. Risk of harm to others
    • 4.6. Non-compliance to terms or ground rules set by the Therapist or the BAPC
    • 4.7. UKTG’s or the Therapist’s inability, through any reason, to be able to provide services to you.

 

  1. UK THERAPY GUIDE CLIENT CONSENT

 

  • 1. UK Therapy Guide accepts that users have a fundamental right to:
    • 1.1. Receive sufficient information to enable an informed decision to be made.
    • 1.2. Withdraw consent at any stage without prejudice to future services.
  • 2. In order to use the services we provide at UK Therapy Guide, we have to collect your personally identifiable information (such as, but not limited to, your name, phone number, email address, and address), billing and payment information, and profile information.
  • 3. Your consent is necessary as a lawful basis for processing your information and in most cases we also look to have a transparent service in which the client has a full understanding of the data we obtain and the reasons for doing so.
  • 4. Protecting this information is a top priority for us. We will never sell or rent any information you shared with UK Therapy Guide. Apart from the limited ways detailed in this consent notice, we will never use or disclose any information through the lawful basis of consent unless you specifically and explicitly requested or approved us to do so.
  • 5. Our uses of your data are defined below
    • 5.1. To book an appointment with a therapist.
    • 5.2. To manage your account, provide you with customer support, and ensure you are receiving quality service.
    • 5.3. To contact you or provide you with information, alerts and suggestions that are related to the service.
    • 5.4. For billing-related purposes.
    • 5.5. To reach out to you, either ourselves or using the appropriate authorities, if either we or a therapist have a good reason to believe that you or any other person may be in danger or may be either the cause or the victim of a criminal act.
    • 5.6. To measure and improve the quality, the effectiveness and the delivery of our services.

 

  • 6. The above will be sent to the client as part of the client consent form

 

  1. PRIVACY

 

  • 1.UKTG takes its commitment to protecting client’s data seriously and will only use your information to share with a Therapist so that they may provide Therapeutic services.
  • 2.By using our services, you agree to our privacy policy as outlined here

  • 1.You agree to seek our written permission if you would like to link to our website or copy our content in any way, shape or form. By supplying us with material via digital or hardcopy, you allow us unlimited, royalty free use of its content.

 

  • 2.You agree not to reproduce, distribute, modify or re-­‐post our content on another site, frame or mirror our site or link to our site without our prior written consent.

 

  • 3.You grant to us a non‐exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-­‐free, worldwide licence to use any material you email, post or submit to us.   • The client acknowledges that the content of the information is subject to copyright and accordingly the client shall ensure that the information on UKTG’s website is used solely for the client’s research/reference and may not be copied, reproduced, rebroadcast, redistributed or commercially exploited in all or any part.
  • You must not:
    • 2.1. Modify copies of any materials from the site
    • 2.2. Use any illustrations, photographs, videos, recordings, graphics found on this site
    • 2.3. Delete or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notices from copies of materials from the site
    • 2.4. Reverse-engineer or otherwise attempt to steal the software, code, algorithms of the site.
    • 2.5. Intellectual property: you agree not to share, imitate, copy, or use our IP in any way other than as defined in the terms and conditions defined here and on our website without our permission.

  • UKTG is acting as a referral and management system.
  • UKTG takes no responsibility for outcomes of therapeutic sessions
  • The therapist is responsible for the initial consultation and decision to engage in services
  • You expressly agree that neither UKTG, the Therapist, any content writer or third party supplier, nor their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, subsidiaries or affiliated companies will be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, consequential or exemplary damages or loss of any kind arising from the use of UKTG’s services, website, content, information, materials, products or otherwise made available to you through UKTG, or for any damages in excess of the amount paid for the specific item giving rise to the applicable claim for damages.
  • UKTG will use reasonable efforts to protect personal information submitted by you in connection with the services outlined above and use such information in accordance with the privacy policy.
  • Use of this site and this service and submission of information is at the Client’s sole risk and UKTG disclaims any and all liability to you for any loss or liability relating to your information or use of the service in any way.
